Hey there, I'm Jeffrey!
Welcome to my spot on the web for the projects I've created — a compilation of the things I've learned over the years. I really love building things — mostly software, but I have also occasionally dabbled with the world of hardware. I'm still discovering new things within the field of technology and on a mission to learn it all, from computer architecture to machine learning.

Software Development Engineer
I work on making the Amazon shopping experience on the website and mobile app completely profile-aware, meaning multiple people can share a single account and each will have different, personalized shopping recommendations. My role requires working on a wide range of tasks, including fullstack development, mobile development, as well as data engineering.
- Technologies used: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native, Objective-C, Scala, SQL, Apache Spark, AWS
Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2023)
MajorBoost is a startup spun out of the Allen Institute for AI that focuses on automating/reducing the routine calls doctors' offices have to make to insurance companies. I embraced a diverse set of responsibilities, which included designing + implementing a wizard to assist clients with data uploads and building an internal testing tool to help validate system scalability.
- Technologies used: C#/.NET, SQL, AWS, Apache Kafka, WebSockets
Software Development Engineer Intern (Summer 2022)
I worked under the Profiles Team at Amazon, at the same time collaborating closely with the Core Recommendations Team. I delivered new Amazon mobile app widget that shows gift recommendations using data from other profiles under the same account (e.g. Violet would see a recommendation widget titled "Gifts for Stanley").
